INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FORUM REGULATION

#POINT OF VIEW. 2020

The International Youth Forum #POINT OF VIEW.2020 is dedicated to the Year of Memory and Glory on the occasion of the 75-th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Period: April 13-16, 2020

Location: Russia, Moscow

1. GENERAL RULES

1.1. This Regulation governs the order of the International Youth Forum #POINT OF VIEW.2020 holding (hereinafter – the Forum).

1.2. This Regulation determines the purpose, objectives,  order of organization and holding, the terms and conditions of the Forum.

2. THE PURPOSE OF THE FORUM

Creation of a common space of trust for establishing cooperation among youth leaders from different countries participating in the Forum.

3. ORGANIZERS OF THE FORUM

3.1. Organizers of the Forum: Federal national and cultural autonomy of Greeks of Russia, Federal Agency for Nationalities and Savvidi Charitable Foundation .

3.2. The Organizing Committee runs general management of the preparation and holding the Forum. The composition of the organizing committee is appointed by the organizers.

3.3. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to use, publish and copy materials of participant`s speeches and reports of the Forum without payment of royalties.

3.4. Work languages of the Forum: Russian, English

4. TERMS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE FORUM

4.1. An application for participation in the Forum should be sent till March 10, 2020 to e-mail point_of_view2020@mail.ru in * DOC and * PDF formats. The Participant’s application form is in Supplement 1.

A photo of the Participant must be attached to the application.

Photo requirements:

– the size of the photo is 480×640 pixels;

– the photo should be color on a white background;

– file format – jpg or jpeg;

– the image should be full-face, without a hat;

– the image of the face should occupy at least 70% of the photo.

4.2. Participants are: young political scientists, historians, journalists, public youth leaders with an active citizenship.

The age of the participants is from 18 to 35 years.

4.3. Each Participant presents only one report on the selected topic of the forum. The time limit for the performance is no more than 7 minutes.

4.4. The topics of the forum`s sections*:

• 75 years of Victory: useful history lessons,

• The role of youth in the development of public diplomacy in Russia and foreign countries,

• Media as a key tool for creating public opinion,

• Christianity in the XXI century: challenges, threats and prospects.

*every participant should select only one section.

4.5. Requirements for the report:

– annotation of the report in English

– type – Times New Roman, 14

– volume – no more than 3 pages A4

– width alignment

4.6. Flight to the Forum, accommodation and schedule of stay for the Forum are at the expense of the organizers.

5. SUMMARY

5.1. According to the results of the Forum:

– A resolution has been adopted (in Russian and English), which emphasizes the need to save the authenticity of history for the unity of the nation and the state for its subsequent direction to international intergovernmental organizations;

– an information booklet has been published (in Russian and English), which will be distributed among the library funds of the Russian Federation and international intergovernmental organizations, among participants of the project, on the Internet in the public domain;

– create a social video (in Russian and English), calling for a careful and objective reflection of historical memory, placed in free access on the Internet;

– each participant was awarded with diploma of participation of  the Forum.

 

6. INFORMATION AND METHODOLOGICAL SUPPORT

6.1. Information about the Forum is posted on the website of the Federal national and cultural autonomy of Greeks of Russia , the Federal Agency for Nationalities, on federal and local media.

6.2. Informing about holding of the Forum, methodological and advisory assistance to participants during the implementation is carried out by the secretariat of Organizing Committee: point_of_view2020@mail.ru
